28. District Level Monitoring and Evaluation Committee: (1) Monitoring and evaluation of the work of government service providers within the district to make the public service delivery system more systematic and effective, the following monitoring and evaluation committee will be formed in each district:-
(a) Chief District Officer – Coordinator
(b) Local Development Officer – Member
(c) One of the heads of associations, organizations related to the rights and interests of consumers designated by the coordinator - member
(d) The head of the municipality where the district headquarters is located or the chairman of the village development committee - member
(e) Assistant Chief District Officer - Member-Secretary
(2) The committee as per sub-rule (1) shall monitor and evaluate the government bodies within the district in coordination and contact with the regional monitoring and evaluation committee as per rule 27.
(3) The report of the monitoring and evaluation work done by the committee as per sub-rule (1) should be sent regularly to the regional monitoring and evaluation committee.
